Gift card and Gift Certificate Holder

Mother's Day Explosion Box

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. These two explosion boxes were made for my mom and mother-in-law. There are many tutorials on these on u-tube but the one I used was Kathy's from PaperPhenomenon.blogspot.com on her holloween explosion box. They were meant to hold the gift certificates only so there are no pictures inside but I think I will have to make some with pictures now because I had a lot of fun making these. The flowers are cut on my cricut using a gypsy cut file from the Cricut Circle Blog and boy are these addictive because they look soooooo cute.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting........

Happy Bee-lated B-day-Created by my 9- year old !

Isabella created this cute card for her teacher using her Cuttlekids bee and flower die. She also ran the background paper throught the cuttlebug and sanded it to show the darker color. She finished it off with some blue stickels and Viola! Great work Isabella!

Ballet Mini Album

This album is known as a "Meander" album and the inside pages are made from one single 12x12 page. The cover is chipboard covered in cardstock and glued to the album. The size is 3x3 but don't let the size fool you. I was able to get many pictures of the ballerinas in there. The flower on the cover is known as a lolipop flower and is made with the cuttlebug and circle dies. Using a lighter I melted the edges to keep it from freying and to also shape it. I then hot glued them and the center embellishment and done. The ballerina slipper pin was made by adding the beads and slippers to a jewelry making pin. The inside was decorated with slippers as well as the ballerina inside cut from the Shall We Dance cartridge . All of the pages have a pocket with a tag cut from Tags Bags Boxes and More.

Mini paper bag album

This is one of the many mini albums designed by Kathy from Paperphenomenon.blogspot.com. She shows how to create this album cover to cover on her u-stream show. You can check her out on her blog where she has links to her recorded U-stream classes as well as other videos. She is very creative and entertaining. I love the way this turned out so now I just have to decide which pictures to put in it:)

Happy Crafting,

Karla

Ballet Tea Invitiations

These invites were designed on my Gypsy. The tea pot is from Once upon a Princess at 9.8 inches and the Ballerina was cut from Shall we Dance at 3.43 inches to fit inside the pretty background shape cut from the Storybook cartridge. The pretty swirls on the teapot were stamped and heat embossed. A little stickles on the ballerina skirt because you can never have too much glitter:) and done. I'll be posting more Ballet tea things as the event gets closer.
Happy Crafting,
Karla

Purse Mini Albums

I made one of these about a year ago and a second one later but never posted them when I started my blog...so here they are. These were inspired by Denise Hill over at paperpastime.com. I love how they turned out. If you are interested in a tutorial you can find it on Denis' blog under her "mini album" label.

Happy Valentine's Day!

These llittle treats were made using Create a Crtitter cartridge and a Martha Stewart border punch. The words were printed on white cardstock and cut to fit. These treats were a group effort created by my sister (Lala...as the kids call her), Austin (my nephew) and Isabella (my daughter). They turned out too cute and the children in their class loved them. Good job little crafters.
